Our very own periodontist, Dr. Jessica Stilley, has been appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to serve on the Florida Board of Dentistry, and we couldn’t be more proud.
This appointment is both an incredible honor and a meaningful responsibility.
The Florida Board of Dentistry oversees licensure and professional standards for dentists and dental hygienists throughout the state. In other words, the Board helps ensure that dental care across Florida meets high standards for quality and patient protection.
What Does the Florida Board of Dentistry Do?
The eleven-member Board is responsible for setting regulations, reviewing policies, and monitoring professional compliance statewide. Its work influences how dentistry is practiced and how patients are protected across Florida.
For Dr. Stilley, serving on the Board is a natural extension of the leadership and dedication she brings to our practice every day.

A Leader in Our Community, and Beyond
Dr. Stilley leads our team, and many of our patients already know her commitment to excellence firsthand.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and was the first board-certified periodontist in Pasco County. She has served as President of the Florida Association of Periodontists and received the Florida Dental Association Leadership Award for her professional impact.
Leadership and education have always been central to her work, and now she’ll help guide standards that benefit patients throughout Florida.
